- On 8 May 2010, family, friends and supporters bid Tim Pryse & Ken Evers farewell as they embarked on their journey around the world in a GA8-TC Airvan.

- A poetic moment as VH-BYI flew over Australia’s capital in its bid to be the first Australian designed and manufactured aircraft to ever circumnavigate the globe.
- Tim Pryse rests beneath the wing after a tricky landing at Lord Howe Island.
- Customs and immigration formalities were completed at Lord Howe Island and Tim and Ken had now officially departed from Australia.
- By the end of the second day, Tim and Ken had arrived at Norfolk Island. Bad weather came in behind them and delayed their departure to American Samoa for 24 hours.
- For the entire journey, there was never a moment when one could really sleep, but it never stopped Tim and Ken from at least making an attempt!
- One of the most breathtaking moments in this flight were the incredible sunrises that only those who dare to be alone over the desolate ocean can ever experience.
- The beauty of Pago Pago is plain to see in the background and here VH-BYI received its first required oil change.
- En route to Kiribati, the clouds and brilliant rays of sunshine provided one of those “Kodak moments!”
